PAPER MILL MANAGER
-Specific assignments
the mill manager shall:
•Organize the program for testing the performances of the process line from low to heavy Grammage and low to high speed in order to identify the true limits of the production and the bottle necks.
•Have the set points and operation parameters recorded in the different conditions of operation;
•Participate to the evaluation of the production cost at the limits of the performances range.
•Provide overall direction and guidance to operations of paper mill;
•Responsible for day-to-day leadership; management and performance improvement efforts.
•Also responsible for developing high performing team and building individual and organizational capabilities.
•Work with division management through regular communication and integrating operational considerations into division's overall goals and objectives.
•Manages organization operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals; objectives; and policies.
•Responsible for maintaining and improving Health & Safety performance and compliance
•Implements programs to ensure attainment of business plan and operating objectives
•Implements improved processes and management methods to reduce costs and optimize manufacturing output.

- General Job description
•The Mill Manager reports to the Deputy General Manager.
•He participates with the Deputy General Manager and the Sales Manager to the definition of the produced “finished products”, based on:
o the availability of the raw material,
o the capability of the Process line,
o the market demand and sales opportunities,
o the production costs.
•He defines (modify when needed) the recipe for each of the “finished products”, fix the production parameters and provides the data for the calculation of the production costs by Sort.
•He supervises and approves the “monthly” production program. He organizes the sequence of production of the different Sorts.
•He supervises availability and approves selection of the raw materials, chemicals, consumables required for the production program.
•In cooperation with the sales Manager he defines and makes efficient the sales strategy of the Company, considering:
o sorts on stock,
o sizes on stock,
o on time delivery,
o minimum tonnage production by sort,
o Minimum tonnage orders.
•He manages the engineering and maintenance so, he includes in the “monthly” production program the down time of the Process line in order to maintain both efficiency and availability of the line at the required target.
- Responsibilities
•The Mill Manager is reported the responsibility of the Operating Profit of the Plant by the
Deputy General Manager.
•He is responsible for the “overall yield efficiency” of the production line.
•He is in charge of the optimization of the production costs, like selection of materials, utilities and consumables costs.
•He leads the entire production staff from raw material receiving to the warehouse for delivery of the final product; it includes the production laboratory.
•On medium term, he shall propose plans to adapt/modify the production line and resources to the conditions of the market and/or to the strategy set by the DGM.
•He shall have the skills in Operations management, Computer skills, and reading profit and loss statement
•He is responsible to manage followings:
a)Production
b)Utilities & Production planning
c)Stock Preparation
d)Paper Machine
e)Finishing
f)Quality
g)Engineering & Maintenance
• -Experience
o 12 -15 years activity in Paper making industry, with as a minimum 10 of the following experiences:
Handling and processing of recycled raw materials
Multi-coats paper production
Coating chemistry
Finishing of recycled boards
Management of profit center.

A furniture company wanted a Store (Show Room) Manager
Reports to: Operations Manager/ General Manager
Summary:
To manage the full store and sales team and make sure they produce what has been decided between directors of the company.
Standard Specifications:
• Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
• Plan and direct staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.
• Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Send Headquarters all the Natuzzi codes with Arabic description and selling price who will then send Image codes.
• Should be aware to change prices a month before.
• Change prices once received.
• Train employee first month.
• Stabilize fixed discounts.
• Visit warehouses twice a week or more depending on the container flow.
• Discuss orders will then be handled to other directors.
• Train sales employees to develop their sales skills, by expanding how to deal with clients in different situations.
• Report to the operation manager the actual performance of every sales team member.
• Should be aware of all items before any container reaches Egypt.
• Audit the technician and the warehouses. (The technician system sheet, clients comments and warehouse available at the tasks points).
• Arrive at the warehouse with team at 10:00 A.M.
• Handle the delivery time and the installation with the clients.
• Possess sufficient training to receive containers as they can read the packing list.
• Make copies of all data and e-mails to the GM.
• Conduct every month sales analysis.
• Always be aware of all competitors’ exercises.
• Manage the procedures with all the departments. ( Trade, financial, marketing, warehouses).
• Coordination between other store managers and team workers while placing new orders.
• Extra work is open upon request.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
1. Possess basic reading, writing and math skills required in both Arabic and English. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Ability to persuade and influence other. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. Strong interpersonal and communication skills , knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques. This is normally acquired through a combination of the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree and three to five years of sales of marketing experience.
3. Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
4. Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients.
5. Work requires willingness to work on a flexible schedule.
