- Prepare documentation for specific platforms’ procedures and guidelines for data and systems security of the Group’s main systems within the overall systems security policy of the Group; and check daily logs and exceptions.
- Monitor assigned main systems operating systems and application performance sizing and utilization.
- Provide automated and documented procedures in order to support simplification of data center operations activity for daily procedures and synchronization of backup site.
- Provide automated and documented scripts for backup and retention of data on external storage within the backup and retention policy of each main system.
- Execute change management procedures with version and backtrack control
- Ensure timely resolution of operating systems and application failures on main systems.
- Report to the Head of Distributed Systems for approvals of work and prioritization of projects on hand.
- Confer with and seek guidance from the Senior System Administrator (Distributed System) in handling more complex jobs.
D. Learning & Knowledge:
- Possess in depth technical knowledge in operating systems of assigned main servers to provide a convenient platform for systems delivery, understanding the network and systems architecture to resolve any business disruption or inconvenience to the users that may critically impact the Group.
- Understand assigned systems’ internals, architecture and limitations in deciding on methods of problem solving which may impact overall resource availability and time to deliver changes. Perform careful analysis to ensure congruence with the Group’s long term planning and approved strategy.
- Be aware of systems security in application and system software to implement and monitor policy and ensure full protection of software and data from un-authorized access or disruption of services.
- Identify areas for professional development of self and act to enhance professional development.

QGC is a leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer based in Brisbane, Australia. We are part of the BG Group, one the UK’s top 10 companies and world leader in liquefied natural gas production. QGC is establishing one of Australia’s largest capital infrastructure projects, Queensland Curtis LNG, to turn our world-class reserves of coal seam gas into LNG. The project is a priority for the BG Group and for QGC. It involves expanding our exploration and development in southern and central Queensland and transporting gas via a 340km buried pipeline to Curtis Island near Gladstone, where it will be liquefied for export. It will be a multi-billion-dollar, decades-long undertaking.
Position Summary
The incumbent will be responsible for dispatching Condamine Power Station (CPS) into two electricity spot markets including one spot market (energy) and eight products (ancillary services). There are also several ancillary services provided by the plant under contract to the local Distribution Network Service Provider (DNSP) which require coordination.

The role will also represent and advocate QGC’s position on specific market issues relating to carbon policy outcomes, the short-term gas trading market and electricity and gas market rules.

• Maximise QGC sales by bidding and dispatching the Condamine Power Station (CPS) into the National Electricity Market (NEM)
• Assist the coordination of all gas nominations for QGC and ensure contractual compliance with existing Gas Supply Agreements(GSAs)
• Ensuring systems, procedures and resources support the 24 x 7 trading operation
• Assist in developing spot trading strategies based on current and future supply/demand balance trends in the NEM
• Assist in the negotiation and management of customer contracts including SRAS contracts with AEMO (Australian Energy Market Operator) and network support contracts with Powerlink
• Understand the portfolio contract position and ensure spot tactics provide sufficient cover during market volatility
• Identify emerging opportunities and risks both in the NEM and CPS by making real time decisions on bidding and dispatch of plant
• Influence decisions of asset management and operations to minimise loss of revenue
• Take into account the capability, limitations and operating risks of the power station
• Ensure gas nominations are clearly communicated to field production facilities staff
• Establish and keep up to date spot trading procedures and strategies, establish and maintain trading and after hours trading rosters
• Ensure the large quantity of day-after market information is gathered, interpreted and condensed into a useable form
• Ensure market communications and notices from AEMO are monitored and appropriate response is made if required
• Ensure bidding systems meet AEMO requirements and market regulations and are consistent with QGC’s trading policy
• Provide spot market forecast for short-term contract trades
• Ensure updates on the market and QGC’s spot trading performance is provided to management as required on a daily and weekly basis

Description •Supervise the sales team to satisfy the customer requirement through current programs or require AmCham to intrude new programs. •Visit & acts as primary point of contact for major clients to promote the Workshops •Mange’s day to day Account Executives, call center operations and Client marketing campaign. •Proactively finds new ways to increase business with clients and grow client’s base. •Design flyers for the Workshops. •Control revenue budgets, and client billing and collection. •Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, and involve the CDC manager when necessary •Prepare the instructor payment request for the classes. •Make periodic classroom visits for follow up. •Revise daily courses summary reports & take actions accordingly. •Responsible for achieving the annual plan. •Participate with the CDC Manager for the Marketing plan. •Insure actual schedules are running verses plan. •Reviewing the monthly reconciliation with the accounting department. •Coordinate with instructors for any schedules changes, handout for class distribution & any other requests. •Revise the regular evaluation & analyze the results for further actions.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in any field. 6-9 years of experience. Excellent command of spoken and written English Preferred work experience in the field of training.Sales Background.
