Commercial Program Manager

Develop and directs the implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and work standards where applicable for the assigned program; interprets and complies with Commercial KPIs.
Monitors and directs progress of the assigned projects to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed, that goals and objectives are met, and that services and projects are being accomplished efficiently and effectively; takes corrective action as necessary and relieve subordinates of some difficult, sensitive or controversial projects.
Plans, organizes, administers, reviews and evaluates the work of subordinate.

Director – Infrastructure Development & Construction (Hurghada)

A. Division Planning:
Contribute to the development of the annual Division plan ensuring that it is aligned with the overall Department plan.
B. Team Development:
Provide direction to subordinates and support in the achievement of their job requirements through managing performance, motivation, provision of appraisals and other formal and informal feedback in order to ensure a positive work climate that maximizes subordinate and Division performance.
C. Technical/Engineering Pool:
Direct the identification, selection and maintenance of a pool of technical experts, both from internal and external resources, in the fields of civil engineering, electrical engineering, hydraulic (network) mechanical engineering, integrated communication technology, landscaping, etc., ensuring the continuous provision of the best quality services for the development of the Sahl Hasheesh project.
Identify future needs and actively seek the update of the technical/engineering pool in order to ensure that the company is capable of delivering the development projects with the best available technical resources.
Direct and manage the search, initiation of contact and the short listing process of technical consultants, contractors, subcontractors and other vendors to gain a deeper understanding of their delivery capabilities.
D. Resources Assignment:
Oversee the process of inspection of all the requisitions for internal resources that are sent from the project managers, ensuring the identification of the best suitable resources.
Ensure the optimal allotment of the technical resources throughout the development and construction stage, based on the requirement specifications from the project manager.
E. Technical Resource Monitoring:
Direct the monitoring of the technical resources’ performance for each development project and review reports on a regular basis on the use of technical resources, in order to ensure efficiency in both cost and use of resources.
F. Project Management:
Manage the external and internal project managers for each assigned development project, in order to ensure they follow the project specifications, the people and time allotments, and the company’s quality standards.
G. Quality Control:
Contribute to the on-site control investigations during construction, ensuring the contractors follow the design and quality standards within the approved budget.
H. Procurement & Contracts:
Contribute actively to the contracts and procurement process for contractors and consultants by providing technical expertise on the scope of work and assisting in the development of the RFP content etc to ensure consistency and quality in the selection of the best-fit contractor or consultant.
I. Knowledge Transfer:
Develop and manage a knowledge base in order to share best experiences and methods used across company for future projects development.
Ensure all relevant experience and knowledge is transferred to the direct reports to build a highly professional and knowledgeable workforce for ERC.

University Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
Certificate in Project Management will be an added advantage.
Minimum Experience:
7 -10 years Project Management experience
Out of which, 4 - 6 years experience of managing third party contactors in the execution of projects.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The main responsibility of the Applications Sales consultants (Pre-Sales Consultant) is to secure Oracle product selection. He/She assists the Applications Sales Representatives drive the adoption of Oracle application solutions within the various industry verticals across MEA.

Overview:

Position Summary

This position is charged with having to ensure that all HSSE policies which are put into place at APMT are stringently followed, despite operational considerations in order to ensure that Safety & Security are not compromised in any way.
This position is responsible for all of the policies, practices, and operations for the Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security functions within the Terminal.
The position also manages the damage claims generated by the terminal as also the handling of dangerous goods & emergency situations which arise.

Key Accountabilities
Ensures safety, health and environmental working conditions are followed at all times.
Implementation of policies, procedures and systems to provide for a safe and secure business operation.
Enforce safe working practices and ensure lost time injuries are kept to a minimum.
Drive and manage the APM Terminals global aim to be recognized as an industry leader within the field of Safety and Security.
Apply the overall APM Terminals standards and guidelines on HSSE.
Represent the company with local government organizations related to safety, security and health, in order to ensure a mutual understanding of the Company’s goals and requirements, and to work in a cooperative partnership with local resources.
Prepare facility audits to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determine corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follow-up to ensure measures have been implemented.
Responsible for setting and achieving the budget for the HSSE department. Coordinate studies and analysis of industrial accident causes and hazards to health for use by company personnel and outside agencies.
Lead the accident/incident investigation and reporting.
Ensure that all safety, security & environmental issues are managed fulfilling the requirements of all the regulations applicable by National laws.
Ensure that all damage claims are handled fulfilling the requirements of all the regulations applicable according to national and international laws (maritime laws).
Ensure that emergencies are handled fulfilling the requirements of the regulations applicable nationally & internationally.
The position is one which is expected to set objectives within overall company guidelines. The position is required to provide direction in achieving the key results
