ـ أخصائي القروض
للعمل بشكل متفرغ لمدة عام ونصف ـ قابلة للتمديد .
ـ الأدوار و المسئوليات :
ـ يكون مسئول عن نطاق جغرافي معين وعليه ان يصل إلي جميع الفئات المستهدفة من برنامج الإقراض مع توصيل هدف البرنامج إلي كل فرد فيه .
ـ يكون مسئولا عن الاحتفاظ بعلاقة مستمرة مع كل مستفيد من المستفيدين ويقوم بزيارات دورية للمستفيدين من مختلف الفئات طبقا لخطة زيارات ميدانية .
ـ يقترح التغييرات التي يراها ضرورية في أنشطة المشروع أو أنشطة جديدة لمدير المشروع.
ـ تنفيذ أنشطة المشروع الموكلة إليه بالتعاون مع فريق وشركاء المشروع طبقا للاتفاقية والخطة والبرنامج الزمني الموضوع.

ـ يكون قادرا علي تقديم دعم فني مبدئي للمستفيدين بخاصة في مجالات الإدارة المالية وإمساك الدفاتر .
ـ مسئول عن التسويق للبرنامج ، فعليه إقناع المستفيدين المرتقبين بفوائد البرنامج و أهمية الحصول علي القروض
ـ القيام بالدراسة الأولية والأساسية لكل طلب قرض مقدم من مستفيد في النطاق الجغرافي وإعداد تقرير واضح وافي يقدمه إلي الجهة الإدارية المختصة .
ـ يقوم بإعداد تقارير دورية وخطط مستقبلية فنية ومالية حسب ما يطلبه منه مدير المشروع وفي التوقيت المحدد ويتم تقديمها للمدير المباشر.
المؤهلات اللازمة في لأخصائي القروض :
1. الدرجة العلمية : علي الأقل حاصل علي مؤهل عالي من احدي الجامعات .
2. الخبرات: حديث التخرج ويحبذ من لديه خبره .
3. المهارات والقدرات:
لديه القدرة علي التحدث وإدارة المواقف.
لديه القدرة علي قيادة المجموعة ودفعها لأداء عملها بحماس .

The incumbent of this position serves as a Senior Marketing Advisor to the Commercial Officer for the Foreign Commercial Service.
Duties include:
- Conducts market research, requiring a high degree of technical accuracy, reliability, validity, and analytical assessment, in major and complex industry sector, such as telecommunications, defense, petroleum, etc., which are special interest to U.S. industry.
- Follows and monitors the development of changes in the economic, industry and trade policies of the host government.
- Counsels U.S. businessmen and provides advice on market opportunities in Kuwait, local business laws and regulations, key government and industry contacts, government-industry linkages, and other factors which help the visiting company in developing an appropriate marketing strategy for Kuwait.
- Monitors export control administration issues, and counsels Kuwaiti importers of hi-tech U.S. equipment about the U.S. export control laws and educates them of the American concern about illegitimate use or diversion of technologies and equipment.
- Plans, organizes and manages trade promotion events, such as seminar missions, trade exhibits and trade mission to Kuwait, particularly in the industry sector.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
1. Possession of a University degree in Commerce, Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, or Political Science.
2. Five to seven years of experience in an Economic, Commercial, Marketing, or Public Relations.
3. Level IV (fluent) in English and Arabic. Ability to type in both languages. (Language skills to be tested).
4. Expert knowledge of Kuwait’ economy, business customs, practices, market channels, laws, regulations, and policies related to assigned commercial functions.
5. Ability to render sophisticated advice with detachment and objectively, employing sound professional judgment
6. Skill in the use of computer programs such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

The U.S. Embassy in Kuwait is seeking individual for employment in country for the position of a Commercial Specialist in the Foreign Commercial Service.
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
The incumbent of this position serves as a Senior Marketing Advisor to the Commercial Officer for the Foreign Commercial Service.
Duties include:
- Conducts market research, requiring a high degree of technical accuracy, reliability, validity, and analytical assessment, in major and complex industry sector, such as telecommunications, defense, petroleum, etc., which are special interest to U.S. industry.
- Follows and monitors the development of changes in the economic, industry and trade policies of the host government.
- Counsels U.S. businessmen and provides advice on market opportunities in Kuwait, local business laws and regulations, key government and industry contacts, government-industry linkages, and other factors which help the visiting company in developing an appropriate marketing strategy for Kuwait.
- Monitors export control administration issues, and counsels Kuwaiti importers of hi-tech U.S. equipment about the U.S. export control laws and educates them of the American concern about illegitimate use or diversion of technologies and equipment.
- Plans, organizes and manages trade promotion events, such as seminar missions, trade exhibits and trade mission to Kuwait, particularly in the industry sector.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
1. Possession of a University degree in Commerce, Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, or Political Science.
2. Five to seven years of experience in an Economic, Commercial, Marketing, or Public Relations.
3. Level IV (fluent) in English and Arabic. Ability to type in both languages. (Language skills to be tested).
4. Expert knowledge of Kuwait’ economy, business customs, practices, market channels, laws, regulations, and policies related to assigned commercial functions.
5. Ability to render sophisticated advice with detachment and objectively, employing sound professional judgment
6. Skill in the use of computer programs such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
SELECTION PROCESS
When fully qualified, U.S. Citizen Eligible Family Members (USEFMs) and U.S. Veterans are given preference. Therefore, it is essential that the candidate specifically address the required qualifications above in the application.
